Have you any information as to facts?
A serious effect might be produced on the position of Hong Kong and on the prospects of the Canton-Kowloon Railway should the project prove successful.
Papers respecting the final Agreement of the last-mentioned line, as to which the Colonial Office and the British and Chinese Corporation have come to terms, were forwarded to you in the bag of the 10th ultimo.
